Wedding Vow

Wedding Vow

On this day onward
I give myself to thee
for eternity I promise
I, always be with thee!
With my pure heart
this sacred vow I make
sealed with my kisses
and bind with my love
I love thee eternally
though bump
and rough roads halt us
body may weakens
till lights fade out
I hold on with thee
after death, again we shall meet
for there is none, as death do as part
but as long as heaven and earth exist
I belong to thee, I promise in deep

faith!

the attack

the bomb

the evil

of those who want

to harm you!

for no matter what
you are beautiful!

You are freedom!

a place where one's life

is cherish

a place of solidarity

where people understand
other people!

a place where everybody's free
to live one's life fully!

Yes! London!
breath free!
spread your wings!
you are strong!
as strong as an eagle!
fly high! fly free!

Federico

Remembering pupil Federico

Teacher's roll call,
Federico's name echoes,
"Absent again ma'am" classmates chorus.
He is in one of the old churches,
selling sweet smelling Sampaguita flowers
to devoted religious folks,
3 chains for 5 pesos
to offer to the Patron Senor Sto. Niño.
But here is one Niño , very much alive,
on the street from night 'till morning,
with no one to offer sweet smelling flowers
to adorn his naked ,tired, neck,
nobody cares, nobody sees , nobody knows!
I cried in anguish for you !my dear nino!
your face I see everyday
niños like you everywhere!
Small frail body with hungry stomach,
no shoes, dirty clothes!
Sleeping in the classroom
to wait for the night to shine again!
