"Pro Patria " is an exhibition of which 18 international, local and immigrant artists participate and takes place in antwerpen, Belgium. The title "Pro Patria borders of integration>" is somewhat confusing to the mind of the immigrant and to the mind of the belgian. But as you visit the exhibition and look, see, hear, read, listen and feel it, then you will know the real meaning of 'Pro Patria". It is not only for the belgian people but for all immigrants who are caught in a difficult or in an extreme situation wherein they do not know anymore how to react and comprehend so that they can fit into their new environment. Morever this is also for all the people who find it difficult to face the reality that wherever we are, we are always immigrants even to our own country. Furthermore, It is through the eyes and soul of each person to grasp the importance of its meaning. The exhibition takes place from February 1th. till February 28th. 2009 in Dominicuskerk, provinciestraat 112, Antwerpen, Belgium.
