election time

Last Sunday, 07 June 2009, Belgium held the European and regional elections. I was able to enjoy my right to vote in Belgium. Before the big day i was a little apprehensive because it would be my first time to vote. So i was asking around. They told me how will be the scenario on that day. Truly enough, it was so easy and fast. It lasted only a few minutes from the time i entered the voting center. It amazed me because it was the opposite situation when we talk about my country. It was hightech, everything was done with the use of the computer. Each booth had one computer. No ballpen, no paper to use, no writing, no chaos. Wow! really this high technology makes our lives more easy and comfortable specially during election time. As for the situation, it was peaceful and orderly. Thumbs up to Belgian government!.
